Yulin Hao

Yulin Hao obtained the B.D. degree in solid state physics from Department of Physics, Jilin University, Changchun, China (September 1989–July 1993); the M.S. degree in material science from Division of Titanium Alloys, Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), Shenyang, China (September 1993–February 1996); the Ph.D. degree in material science from Division of Titanium Alloys, Institute of Metal Research, CAS, Shenyang, China (March 1996–February 1999). In March 1999, he worked as a Research Assistant at Division of Titanium Alloys, Institute of Metal Research, CAS, Shenyang, China, in March 1999. He was also a Research Lecturer at Research Center for Future Technology, Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi, Japan, in October 1999; an Associate Professor at Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science, Institute of Metal Research, CAS, Shenyang, China, in September 2002; a Research Professor at Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science, Institute of Metal Research, CAS, Shenyang, China, in September 2007. His research interests are focused on biomedical titanium alloys, development of multifunctional titanium alloys for biomedical applications, fabrication of porous titanium alloys, bioactive surface treatments of titanium alloys, and design of implant devices and biomechanical evaluation.
