Sinead Keeney
0000-0003-2134-2213Sinead Keeney is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Nursing Research within the School of Nursing at the University of Ulster, Coleraine, Ireland. She received a primary degree in politics and sociology from Queens University in Belfast, Ireland, in 1996 and graduated from the University of Ulster with the MRes degree in 1997. Sinead began her career in research at the University of Ulster in 1999. She earned a Ph.D. degree in 2007 from the University of Ulster, the subject of which was an exploration of the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of people in midlife with regards to cancer prevention. Her other major research interest lies in mental health research into suicide and self-harm.
