Hyekyung Ha

Hyekyung Ha received his B.S. degree from the Department of Chemistry, Sangmyung University, Korea. In 1997, he received his M.S. degree in biochemistry from the same department, with a thesis entitled ?Anticancer effect of herbal extract (Bupleuri Radix, Huttyniae Herba) on murin reticulum sarcoma cell line?. In 2000, he got his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from the same department, with a thesis entitled ?Ameliorating effect of Astragalus membranaceus extracts on the bone loss of ovariectomized rats?. He works as a Senior Researcher Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM), Daejeon, Korea since Jul 2006. From Mar 2005 to Feb 2009, he worked as an Adjunct Professor at Sangmyung University, Korea. From Nov 1997 to Jun 2006, he served as a Research Fellow at Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM), Daejeon, Korea. His research areas include the pharmacological efficacies for herbal medicine; and anti-inflammation, immune regulation, atopic dermatitis, osteoporosis, and induction of growth hormone.
