Nowshad Amin

Nowshad Amin, holder of a Ph.D. degree, serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Systems Engineering and as the Group Leader of the Photovoltaic Systems and Advanced Solar Cells Research Group at the Solar Energy Research Institute at The National University of Malaysia. His areas of expertise include microelectronics, renewable energy, solar photovoltaic applications, and thin-film solar PV development. Additionally, his research focuses on the commercialization of solar photovoltaic products from his patented entities. He is serving as the CTO of a university spin-off company financed by the Malaysian Technology Development Center (MTDC). He has been serving as the PI and Co-PI of many government- and international-funded projects. Amin is currently holding a visiting professorship position at the King Saud University at Saudi Arabia.
