Kui Fu Chen

Kui Fu Chen received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Peking Union Medical College, China in 2000. He was a one-year research student in signal processing at Shimane University, Japan, in 2000. In 1994, he joined the China Agricultural University (CAU). Dr. Chen was a postdoctorate at the Neurological Science Institute, Oregon Health and Science University, Ore, USA from October 2002 to May 2004 and a Research Associate at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Ill, USA from May 2004 to August 2005. Now he is a Professor at the College of Sciences, CAU. His interests include signal processing, biomechanical modeling, motor control, computational mechanics, and vibration analysis. Moreover, he has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers. He has been awarded Excellent Teacher from the Baosteel Education Foundation, 2010; Excellent Teacher in Mechanics from the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, 2007; Award for Achievement in Science and Technology from Chinese Educational Committee and Chinese Agriculture Ministry, 1995. He is a Board Member of Random Vibration Committee of Chinese Vibration Engineering Association and the Editorial Advisory Board of Mediterranean Journal of Measurement and Control.
