Juan Garcia-Bellido

Juan García-Bellido was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1966. He is Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Senior Researcher at the Instituto de Física Teórica (CSIC). Author of about a hundred articles in specialized journals, he is a reknown theoretical cosmologist. He has worked at CERN, Imperial College London and Stanford University. His research covers a wide range of phenomena, from the origin of the Universe in terms of the Cosmological Inflation Paradigm, to the formation of Large Scale Structures and the nature of Cold Dark Matter and Dark Energy. He is member of the International Collaborations "Dark Energy Survey", "Cosmic Origins Explorer" and "Euclid".
