Guang-Qian Zhou

Guang-Qian Zhou obtained his Ph.D. degree from Umeå University, Umeå, Sweden and received postdoctoral training at University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, where he found his interest in molecular regulation of stem cells. Dr. Zhou was appointed as Lecturer at Queen's University of Belfast, Belfast, UK and afterwards moved to The University of Hong Kong, where he became an independent investigator. He moved to Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China and is currently a Professor in medical cell biology and an Assistant Dean in medical education. Professor Zhou has published nearly 40 papers in international journals and his work is financially supported by a number of international and major national funding agents.
