Weidong Han

Weidong Han was born in 1969 in Qinyaun County, Shanxi province, China. In 1990, he obtained the B.S. degree in clinical medicine from Changzhi Medical College. He obtained the M.A. degree in clinical hematology in 1998 from Shanxi Medical College under the direction of Professor Chun Wang. In 2001, he obtained the Ph.D. degree in clinical hematology from Chinese PLA Postgraduate Medical School (Chinese PLA General Hospital) under the direction of Professors Li Yu and Fangding Lou. He worked in the Institute of Basic Medicine, Chinese PLA General Hospital, as an Assistant Professor. In 2006, he was promoted to the position of Associate Professor of tumor biology and stem cell. In 2003, he did postdoctoral work at the University of Lundon with Senior Lecturer Qihe Xu. In 2008, he was promoted to the position of Professor and began to cooperate with his colleagues to perform clinical trials of tumor therapy by cytokine-induced killer cells.
