Weidong Han obtained his B.S. degree in basic medicine from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in oncology in 2008 from the same University under the direction of Professor Xun Hu. Subsequently, he worked in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital of College of Medicine of Zhejiang University, as an Assistant Professor. In 2011, he was promoted to an Associate Professor of tumor biology. From 2011 to 2012, he did his postdoctoral work in the City of Hope Nation Medical Center in USA under the supervision of Professor Wendong Huang. His current research focuses on cell death signaling in tumor cells, cancer drug resistance, and clinical trials. Now, Dr. Han published more than 10 research articles with more than 200 citations.
