Moises A. Carreon graduated with a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering at the University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA) in 2003. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Chemistry Department at University of Toronto (Toronto, ON, Canada, 2004-2005) and as a Research Associate in the Chemical & Biological Engineering Department at the University of Colorado at Boulder (Boulder, Colo, USA, 2006-2007). Since Fall 2007, Dr. Carreon serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisville (Louisville, Ky, USA). His main research areas include advanced nanostructured materials for energy and environmental applications, with emphasis on molecular gas separations and heterogeneous catalysis. He has more than 40 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Carreon is the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award (2011–2016).
