Klaus Krogh received his M.D. degree in 1993, his Ph.D. degree in 2000, and his D.MSc. degree in 2004 from Aarhus University, Denmark. Both his Ph.D. degree and his D.MSc. thesis were on colorectal and anal sphincter dysfunction after spinal cord injury. Since 2010, he has been Professor of neuro-gastroenterology and consultant gastroenterologist at Aarhus University Hospital. His main research interests are neurogenic bowel dysfunction and sacral nerve stimulation. He has published more than 80 papers in the field. Furthermore, he has been member of/chaired various international working groups appointed by The International Spinal Cord Society and The American Spinal Cord Injury Association. He is an Associate Editor of BMC Gastroenterology and of Frontline Gastroenterology.
