Michele Della Morte

Michele Della Morte was born in Tirano, Italy, in 1974. He received his Physics degree from the Università Statale di Milano in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from the Università Bicocca di Milano in 2001. He has been a Postdoc at the DESY Zeuthen and at the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, from 2001 to 2006. After that period he spent two years at the CERN as a Fellow in the Theory Unit. Morte is now an Associate Researcher at the Institute for Nuclear Physics of the Gutenberg University in Mainz. His main expertise is on gauge theories on the lattice and its applications to the flavor phenomenology and hadronic physics. He has also contributed to the field of numerical simulations and algorithms.
