Semir Loncarevic serves as Senior Researcher at the Section for Veterinary Public Health at the Department for Health Surveillance, Norwegian Veterinary Institute in Oslo, Norway since 2000. He is involved in consultancy, troubleshooting, auditing, and training as well as research. His main interests are food-borne infections and intoxications and identification of risk factors. His research interests also cover the microbiological aspects of food and food processing and preservation strategies including HACCP and disinfection, quality loss and spoilage, methods development, and diagnostics.
