Lawrence S. Chin
Lawrence S. Chin attended college and medical school at the University of Michigan, Mich, USA, and then did his residency in neurosurgery at LA County/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. He has been in academic neurosurgery practice since 1994. He started his career at the University of Maryland, Md, USA, where he became a Professor of neurosurgery and radiation oncology. He moved to Boston University in 2006 where he was a Professor and the Chair of Neurosurgery. He is currently the Robert B. and Molly G. King Professor and the Chair of Neurosurgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University. His clinical and research interests are in surgical and radiosurgery treatment of brain tumors and skull base tumors. He is also interested in minimally invasive spine surgery.
