Wu Zhou received his Ph.D. degree in automatic engineering from the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2012. From 2010 to 2012, he received the study-abroad fellowship from China Scholarship Council and was a visiting Ph.D. student at Wright State University, Dayton, OH, USA. Zhou has designed a novel method of adaptive image registration via hierarchical Voronoi subdivision to register large images with local geometric differences, which has been published in the Journal of IEEE Transactions on Image Processing. Currently, he works as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen, China. His research interests include medical image analysis, image registration, geometric modeling, and pattern recognition.
