Fabrizio Ensoli

Fabrizio Ensoli, M.D., Ph.D., served as a Senior Staff Physician at La Sapienza University, Rome, Italy. Since 2004, he works as the Director of the Pathology and Microbiology Department, IRCCS S. Gallicano Hospital, Rome, Italy. His studies are directed at identifying mechanisms of HIV neuropathogenesis, analysis of HAART-induced immune reconstitution in HIV-1-infected individuals, and identifying mechanisms of immune protection relevant for HIV/AIDS vaccine development.
