Angela Perrone received a degree in Geology (1999) and a Ph.D. (2003) in applied geophysics for hydrogeological hazards at the University of Basilicata, Italy. She is a Researcher at IMAA-CNR in Potenza. Her research interests include electrical and electromagnetic (EM) methods in hydrogeological and environmental problems monitoring. In particular, she applies geoelectrical methods and ground-based DInSAR techniques in the study of complex landslides. She was involved in national (MORFEO) and international (PREVIEW) research projects regarding the application of in situ electromagnetic techniques for investigating areas affected by hydrogeological hazard. At the moment she is working in the frame of ISTIMES and DORIS projects both fundend in the frame of the FP7 and aimed at development of new systems to be used for investigating infrastructures and areas involved in natural risk phenomena.
