Wendong Xiao is currently a Scientist III in the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Prior to joining I2R in July 2004, he held academic and research appointments at Northeastern University (China), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and the POSCO Technical Research Laboratories (South Korea). He received his Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University, China, in 1995. His current research focuses on wireless localization and tracking, collaborative signal and information processing, information-driven networking protocols, wireless sensor networks, and internet of things. He has published about 120 papers in journals and conferences and has been participating in a number of research and industrial projects in the related areas. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Member of the ACM.
