Paulo Flores

Paulo Flores received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal, in 1997 and concluded the Pedagogical Aptitude and Scientific Capacity Tests (M.S. degree equivalent) at the same university in 2000. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the same university in 2005 and concluded Postdoctoral studies at the ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, in 2009. Since 2012, he has been serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Minho at the Mechanical Engineering Department. He is mainly interested in bioengineering, biomechanics, computer-aided design, contact-impact dynamics, engineering education, higher education, kinematics and dynamics of mechanisms, mechanical systems analysis and design, multibody dynamics, and tribology. He has published more than two hundred refereed journal and conference papers in the above areas.
