Binxuan Zhao received his B.E. degree with outstanding graduate in electronic information engineering from Jilin University and his M.E. degree in network communication system and control from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from Waseda University, Japan, in 2011. Since 2011, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Niigata University, Japan, where he is currently a specially appointed Assistant Professor. He won the Best Paper Award at the 18th IEEE International Conference on Networks (ICON) in 2012. His current research interests include cognitive radio and wireless mesh networks.
