Kamran Alimoghaddam

Kamran A. Alimoghaddam was born in 1964, Tehran, Iran. He gained his M.D. degree in hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplantation. Since 2005, he has been an Associate Professor of medical sciences at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Between 1999 and 2005, he served as an Assistant Professor of medical sciences at the same university. In addition, Alimoghaddam is a Member of EBMT, ESMO, ASGT, EHA, AAAS, ASCO, ASH, ECAR, Iranian Society of Hematology/Oncology, and the Iranian Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation. He is also the Coeditor of the International Journal of Hematology, Oncology, and BMT and a Member of the Editorial Board of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Therapy Journal. Professor Alimoghaddam received his training, for example, in 1992, at the Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, Iran; in 1995, the Board of Internal Medicine; the Tehran University of Medical Sciences; between 1996 and 1999, he gained Hematology, Oncology, and BMT Fellowship from the same university. In 1999, he worked as a Research Fellow for gene transfer to hematopoietic stem cells at Transplantation Biology Department, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, Wash, USA.
