Timothy Ho graduated in medicine with distinction in 1991 from St. Georges University of London, London, UK. He trained in general internal medicine at the University Hospitals of Leicester and obtained the MRCP degree (UK) in 1994. He subsequently undertook specialist training in respiratory and intensive care medicine in London. In 1998, he was awarded a Wellcome Trust Training Fellowship at Imperial College London with Professor Douglas Young investigating pathogen polymorphisms of M. tuberculosis, culminating in the award of a Ph.D. degree in microbiology in 2003. Since 2004, Ho has been a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Frimley Park Hospital, Camberley, Surrey, UK. He was awarded an FRCP in 2007. He has a particular interest in interventional bronchoscopy, pulmonary infection, and noninvasive ventilation. He has published widely on respiratory and intensive care medicine topics.
