Darren E. Butler
Darren E. Butler holds a B.IT degree (computer
science) and a B.Eng. degree (electronics)
both from the Queensland University
of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology's Media
Laboratory and is the Chief Inventor of a
patent relating to video compression and
distribution. Darren has received numerous
academic awards and is currently consulting
for Sarnoff Corporation, NJ, USA, whilst pursuing his Ph.D. degree
from the Queensland University of Technology.
