Kimihiro Yamashita

Kimihiro Yamashita received the B.S., the M.S., the Ph.D. degrees from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1977, 1979, and 1982, respectively. From 1982 to 1984, he became a Postdoctoral Fellow at MacMaster University, Canada. From 1984 to 1997, he served as an Assistant Professor, as a Lecturer, and as an Associate Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University, and he has been working as a Professor at the Institute of Biomaterials and Bioengineering, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, since 1997. He is mainly interested in the biomedical, dental, and industrial applications of bioceramic electrets.
