Miguel Diaz-Cacho received M.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Vigo in 1998. He worked from 1996 to 2007 as System and Network Engineer in several IT Companies. Since 2007, he has been with the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation in the University of Vigo, where he serves as an Associate Professor in the Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering. In 2011, he received a Ph.D. degree in systems engineering and automation. His research interests include networks, protocols, and time-delay systems with applications in networked control, teleoperation systems, and telerobotics.
