Zhihua Zhang received the Ph.D. degree from the University of California, CA, USA, in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Lecturer/Postdoc at the University of California. Since 2010, he has been working as a Research Professor and Senior Scientist in Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China. He has published 40 papers. His research interests include climate change, applied mathematics, and signal and image processing. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Climate Change and American Journal of Climate Change Research Letters, an Associate Editor of Arabian Journal of Geosciences, an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Global Warming, an Editorial Board Member of Advances in Meteorology, an Associate Editor of EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Applied Mathematics, a Managing Guest Editor of a special volume on carbon emission reduction of the Journal of Cleaner Production, an International Advisor Board Member of the International Journal of Climate Change: Impacts and Responses, and a Reviewer for Zentralblatt MATH. His research is supported by the National Key Science Program for Global Change Research, Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities (Key Program), and NSFC.
