Vassilios Nastopoulos

Vassilios Nastopoulos is currently a Professor of X-ray structure analysis at the University of Patras, Greece. He studied chemistry and received his Ph.D. degree in crystallography from the University of Patras, Patras, Greece, in 1987. He performed Postdoctoral Research at the Universities of Louvain-la-Neuve and York (direct phasing methods) and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Heidelberg (protein crystallography). He has coauthored over 75 research papers. His research interests include crystal engineering of metal complexes, supramolecular chemistry, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, polymorphism, cocrystals, and software development.
