Fauzia Khan is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at the Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. Khan Served as a Chairperson in the same department from 2002 to January 2010. Khan received an M.Med. degree from King Edward Medical College , Lahore, Pakistan, in 1976. Khan was an Examiner for FCPS in Anesthesia, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, Karachi, Pakistan, and also an author of more than 90 papers in indexed international anesthesia journals and national journals. Khan published more than hundred abstracts. Khan is clinically interested in neuroanaesthesia, paediatric anesthesia, and ENT anesthesia and is also interested in haemodynamic changes associated with anesthesia, safety, and quality in anesthetic practice, use of alternatives to short acting potent opioids in anesthesia, gender, and pain.
