Zhijia Chen is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. He is an exchange student at Stanford School of Engineering in Spring 2007 and he had been also exchanged to study in CS Department in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2004. His research area is in computer network and media streaming, especially for architecture design and analytical modeling for P2P media streaming. He has published till now 3 academic papers in the area of P2P streaming and protocol modeling in EI indexed journals and well-known conferences. He is the International First Prize winner in American Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM 2004, Meritorious Winners). He is also the Network Session Chair in 1st Beijing-Hong Kong Doctoral Forum on network and media 2006 supported by Ministry of Education of China.
