Anwar Ahniyaz

Anwar Ahniyaz is an expert on surface and colloid chemistry of particulate materials, hybrid materials, and nanomaterials. He received a Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology (2002), Japan, and he continued at postdoc positions at Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2005 and Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden, from 2005 to 2007, where he led several industrial projects on nanoparticles and inorganic-organic nanocomposites. He joined YKI as a Project Manager in 2007. He has an extensive experience in industrial and EU-funded projects related to nanoparticles, nanostructured materials, dispersion/surface modifications, fibers, conducting polymer, bioceramics, and functional clear coatings.
