Amy Jayne McKnight

Jayne McKnight obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2003 in genetic epidemiology at the Queen's University of Belfast, Antrim, UK. In 2007, she achieved her M.S. degree in bioinformatics from the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, while she was working full time. From 2009 to present, McKnight occupied the position of a Recipient of the Innovators in Diabetes program at Diabetes UK. In addition, she gained the Raine Award in 2012 from The Renal Association, UK. McKnight's research focuses on genetic and epigenetic risk factors for kidney disease with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. Her team has several interesting outputs from single-gene, targeted analysis, genomewide, and methylome-wide studies.
