Wen-Hwa Liao received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science and information engineering from the National Central University, Taiwan, in 1992 and 2002, respectively. He served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA, from October 2001 to May 2002. He joined the Faculty of the Department of Information Management, Tatung University, Taiwan, as an Assistant Professor in 2004. He is currently working as a Professor at the Department of Information Management, Tatung University, Taiwan. Liao served as an Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Networking, an Associate Guest Editor of the International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (IJAHUC, 2012), and a Member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks. Liao acts as a Member of the IEEE Computer Society and Communication Society. His current research interests include wireless sensor networks, ad hoc wireless networks, and cloud computing.
