Antonio M. Peinado

Antonio M. Peinado received the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in physic sciences from the University of Granada (UGR), Granada, Spain, in 1987 and 1994, respectively. Since 1988, he has been working with the GSTC Research Group UGR, where he has led or participated in several research projects related to speech recognition, coding, and transmission. In 1989, he was a Consultant in the Speech Research Department, AT&T Bell Labs. Since 1996, he has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Signal Theory, Networking, and Communications in Granada. He is author of numerous publications including the book "Speech Recognition Over Digital Channels" (Wiley, 2006), and has served as reviewer for several international journals and conferences. His research interests are in distributed and robust speech recognition.
