Livija Cveticanin

Livija Cveticanin was born in Senta, Serbia, in 1952. She received the Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) and the M.S. degree from the University of Belgrade (Serbia). In 1981, she got the Ph.D. degree in mechanics from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. She is a Professor at the University of Novi Sad. Cveticanin is interested in nonlinear mechanics, application of mathematics in solving mechanical problems, and the theory of machines and mechanisms. Cveticanin published more than hundred papers and presented the results of her investigation on many domestic and international conferences. She published the monograph Dynamics of Machines with Variable Mass, Gordon and Breach Science Publishers, London, page 236, 1998, and is an author of a section in the monograph Duffing Equation: Nonlinear Oscillators and Their Behaviour, edited by I. Kovacic and M.J. Brennan, Wiley, 2011. Cveticanin is the Associated Editor of the International Journal Mechanism and Machine Theory and is the Member of the Editorial Board of the Facta Universitatis, published in Serbia. Cveticanin was the President of the Yugoslav Society of Mechanics and a Member of IFToMM in Serbia. She was the Director of the Institute of Mechanics and Mechanical Design, Head of the Department of Mechanics, and, presently, is the Head of the Department for Graphic Engineering and Design at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
