Jolanta Lissowska received his M.S. degree from the University of Warsaw, Poland in 1980 and his Ph.D. degree in cancer epidemiology from the Cancer Center and Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, Poland in 1990. Presently, she is Professor. Her research focuses on environmental and lifestyle risk factors associated with cancer. She is particularly interested in the application of biomarkers in molecular epidemiologic studies of breast, ovarian, endometrial, and stomach cancers, with special emphasis on the study of genetic susceptibility, and etiologic heterogeneity of selected cancers.
