Gangadharan Murugusundaramoorthy works as a Senior Professor of mathematics at the School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology, VIT University, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India. He received his Ph.D. degree in complex analysis (geometric function theory) from the Department of Mathematics, Madras Christian College, University of Madras, Chennai, India, in 1995. His thesis was entitled “Studies on Classes of Analytic Functions with Negative Coefficients.” Moreover, he has received the M.S. degree in mathematics in 1990 from the Department of Mathematics, Madras Christian College, University of Madras, India, and his dissertation was entitled “Certain Classes of Analytic Univalent Functions with Negative Coefficients.” In addition, he has got the M.S. degree in mathematics (first class) from the Loyola College (Autonomous), University of Madras, India, 1989; the B.S. degree in mathematics (first class) from the Sacred Heart College, University of Madras, 1987. His research areas include special classes of univalent functions and special classes of harmonic functions. Furthermore, Murugusundaramoorthy is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Review of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IRPAM) and the editorial board Member of the Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications and the International Journal of Mathematical Sciences (IJMMS). His research papers were refereed for the Australian Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications (AJMAA), International Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, Applied Mathematical Letters, Turkish Journal of Mathematics, Bulletin of Malaysian Mathematical Society, Journal of Computation, Far East Journal of Mathematical Sciences, Ganita, and Journal of Analysis and Applications. Murugusundaramoorthy is a member of the research group in Mathematical Inequalities and Applications (Australia).
