Michele Norgia

Michele Norgia was born in Omegna, Italy, in 1972. He received the M.S. degree with honors in electronics engineering from the University of Pavia, Lombardy, Italy, in 1996, and he received the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering and computer science, in 2000. In 2006, he joined the Electronic and Information Science Department of the Polytechnic University of Milan as an Assistant Professor in electronic measurements. His main research interests are optical and electronic measurements, interferometry, optical sensors, chaos in lasers, microelectromechanical sensors, and biomedical measurements and instrumentation. He is the author of more than 100 papers published in international journals or international conference proceedings. Dr. Norgia is a Senior Member of the IEEE and Member of the Italian Association “Electronics and Electronic Measurements Group.”
