Hira Karagülle

Hira Karagülle was born in 1955 in Artvin, Turkey. He works as a Faculty Member in Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey, since 1984. He received his B.S. degree from Ege University, Izmir, Turkey, in 1977; his M.S. degree from the same university in 1978; and his Ph.D. degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass, USA, in 1984, all in mechanical engineering. Karagülle has served as a Visiting Scientist at Darmstadt Technical University and Southampton University. His research interests include wave propagation and vibration analysis, computer-aided engineering, and mechatronics.
