Takashi Hashimoto

Takashi Hashimoto is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Dermatology, Kurume University School of Medicine, Japan. He graduated from Keio University School of Medicine, 1970–1976, and he received his M.D. degree in 1976. He worked during 1976–1982 at the Department of Dermatology, Keio University School of Medicine, as a Lecturer; during 1982–1984 at the Department of Dermatology, University of Wales College of Medicine, as a Visiting Researcher; during 1984–1987 at the Department of Dermatology, Kitasato Institute, as a Lecturer; dyring 1987–1996 at the Department of Dermatology, Keio University School of Medicine, as an Assistant Professor; and since 1996 at the Department of Dermatology, Kurume University School of Medicine, as a Professor and Chairman. In 1994, he won Kitasato Prize, Sanshikai Foundation, Keio University; and in 1996, Sakaguchi Prize, Medical Foundation of Keio University, Keio University.
