Dr. Alireza Sepehr is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is board certified in both dermatopathology and anatomic pathology in the USA. Dr. Sepehr received his doctorate degree in medicine (M.D.) from Beheshti University School of Medicine in Tehran, Iran. He completed two post-doctoral fellowships in molecular cancer epidemiology at International Agency for research on Cancer (IARC) in Lyon, France, and at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Dr. Sepehr completed a residency in pathology and a fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology, both at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston. He later finished a fellowship in dermatopathology at Harvard Dermatopathology Program, and received a faculty position at Department of Pathology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in 2008. His research interests include cutaneous melanocytic neoplasms, proteomics, and molecular cancer epidemiology. Dr. Alireza Sepehr has more than 60 original articles, reviews, and book chapters to his credit.
