Ming-Li Hsieh was born In Chayi, Taiwan, in 1959. He received the M.D. degree from China Medical University in 1986. Two years later, he began working and training as a Junior Resident at the Surgical Department of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan. He became a Senior Resident from 1990 to 1993 in the Urological Section of the Surgical Department. He was promoted to the post of an Attending Physician of urology in 1993. In 1996, he went to Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota, USA) and studied as a Research Fellow at the Department of Urology Research for one year. Currently, he is serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine, Chang Gung University (Taoyuan, Taiwan) and as the Division Chief of andrology and female urology, Department of Urology, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He is interested and specialized in male infertility, prostate diseases, and female incontinence.
