Norio Hasebe
Norio Hasebe was born in 1942. He graduated Nagoya Institute of Technology (NIT) in 1964 in Japan. He received M.S. degree from NIT in 1969 and Doctorate degree of engineering from Tokyo University in 1974 of which subject is resolution of stress concentration and its stress analyses. He worked at Shimizu Construction Company from 1962-1965. He worked at NIT from 1969, and became a professor in 1984, and retired in 2005. Then he became Emeritus Professor of NIT. He wrote 1900 papers and 50 international conference papers and 6 books. In addition, he is a Coeditor of stress intensity factor handbooks. He is solving mainly boundary value problems of elasticity, punch, bimaterial, magneto elasticity, and so on. He serves as a Member of Japan society of civil engineers.
