Jacek Tabarkiewicz

Jacek Tabarkiewicz was born in Skarzysko-Kamienna, Poland, in 1974. In 1999, he received M.D. degree and in 2004 a Ph.D. degree from the Medical University of Lublin, Poland. Since the beginning of his career, he has been working at the Clinical Immunology Department of the Medical University of Lublin. For 4 years now he has been working as an Associate Professor at the same department. His main field of research is the role of dendritic cells in the pathogenesis and immunotherapy of human diseases. He was laureate of many polish and international awards as well as recipient of many scientific grants. He is a specialist in flow cytometry, cell culture techniques, ELISPOT, and functional assays.
