José M. Pérez-Donoso

José M. Pérez-Donoso received his Ph.D. degree in microbiology from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Santiago, Chile, in 2007. His fields of expertise include nanotechnology, microbiology, bacterial heavy metal resistance, and quantum dots biosynthesis. He is a coauthor of more than 20 papers in international journals, book chapters, and patent applications. He is an Assistant Professor at the Facultad de Ciencias Químicas y Farmacéuticas of the Universidad de Chile. At present, he is the Director of the Microbiology and Bionanotechnology Laboratory.
