Bryan D. James

Bryan D. James holds the position of a Postdoctoral Fellow in epidemiology of aging and dementia and an Instructor at the Section of Community Epidemiologic Research, Department of Internal Medicine. He holds a Ph.D. degree. His research focuses on identifying risk factors for Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and cognitive decline at the population level. In particular, he is interested in social and lifestyle factors that can promote a neural reserve capacity that protects against the clinical manifestation of disease pathology in the aging brain.
