Edward K. S. Au
Edward K. S. Au received his B.S. of engineering degree with first class honors in computer engineering and his Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2002 and 2007, respectively. From May to July 2007, he was a visiting student in the Department of Information Technology, Lund Institute of Technology, Lund University, Sweden. In September 2007, he joined the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering of HKUST as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He serves on IEEE 802.22 Working Group as Secretary and an alternate representative for Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. He is also a Member of Technical Committee on Data Storage of IEEE Communications Society.
