User Biography : Prof Rajaram S. Mane Rajaram S. Mane serves as a Professor of physics at the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, India. He received his graduate and M.S. degrees from Pune University in years 1992 and 1994 and Ph.D. degree from Shivaji University in 2000. He has completed his postdoc in year 2004-2006 from Hanyang University where he later was joined as an Assistant Professor during 2008 to 2009. He received Korean prestigious fellowship, Brain pool for year 2006-2008. He is one of the leading research experts in the role of solar cells, gas sensors, and supercapacitors due to which he was appointed as Visiting Research Faculty of Oxford University in year 2009-2010. He is one of the youngest selected professors in India. He guided about ten Korean students successfully and about twelve Ph.D. students are working with him. The high-yield, large-scale synthesis of well-defined metal oxide nanostructures, an essential part of DSSCs by a facile wet-chemical method using the delicate manipulation of the interaction between crystal nuclei and ligand molecules, is yet to be realized. As an important note, this approach is very important from the view-point of cost effective scalable systems. Dr. Mane has ample of experience in these areas (fabrication of various metal oxide/chalcogenide nanostructures) since 1996.
