Andrea Fuso is a Researcher at the Department of Surgery “P. Valdoni” and Department of Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. She received her Laurea (M.S.) degree in biological sciences (cum laude) from Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, in 1997, and Ph.D. degree in enzymology, University of L’Aquila, L’Aquila, Italy, in 2001. From 2002 to 2010, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow in neuroscience at the Department of Surgery “P. Valdoni” and Department of Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. Currently, she has been a lecturer in clinical pathology at the School of Clinical Pathology, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, since 2010. Her areas of expertise include epigenetics, one-carbon metabolism, DNA methylation, neurodegeneration, Alzheimer's disease, Rett syndrome, autism, and muscle differentiation.
