K.S.V. Krishna Rao received a Ph.D. degree from Department of Chemistry (2005), Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, India and his thesis was entitled “Interpenetrating polymeric network systems: synthesis, development and applications.” He received an M.S. degree from the Department of Chemistry (2002), Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, India (first class) with physical chemistry as subject of specialization and a B.S. degree (2000) from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, India (PSC & KVSC Government College, Nandyal, Kurnool District) with chemistry, mathematics, and physics (first class) as subjects of specialization. Dr. Krishna Rao's experience includes working as a Project Fellow (June 12th 2002 to June 11th 2005) topic entitled Hydrogels of Interpenetrating Polymer Networks: Synthesis and Applications at the Department of Chemistry, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, India, a Visiting Research Fellow in Drug Delivery Division, Center of Excellence in Polymer Science, Karnatak University, Dharwad, a reputed laboratory of University Grants Commission (UGC, New Dilhi), India from July 2003 to June 2005. He was trained in synthesis and development of novel IPNs-based micro- and nanoparticles and membranes for controlled release and pervaporation applications, Postdoctoral Fellow with topic entitled Synthesis and Characterization Polymeric Drugs for Anti-Tumor and AIDS from Pusan National University, Pusan, Republic of Korea and another Postdoctoral Fellow (April 19, 2007 to March 31, 2008) Microstructure and Interfacial Interactions of Polyimide Based Hybrid Nanocomposites from Pusan National University, Pusan, Republic of Korea. He served as a Research Professor (April 1, 2008 to November, 2008) Organic-Inorganic Nano-hybrids: Synthesis and Applications from Changwon National University, Changwon , Republic of Korea. He currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa, India.
