Hongmin Li, holder of the Ph.D. degree, serves as a structural Biologist. He graduated from the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 1995. He was trained in molecular biology and protein crystallography and is now holding a Research Scientist V position (Associate Professor equivalent) at the Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, USA. Dr. Li also holds an Assistant Professor appointment in the Departments of Biomedical Sciences at the School of Public Health of the State University of New York, Albany, USA. His main research interest is to study the molecular structure, function, and mechanism of proteins or complexes related to bacterial or viral infection and host response.
