Rogério Colaco

Rogério Colaco obtained his Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering, in 2002, from Instituto Superior Técnico, the School of Engineering of the Technical University of Lisbon. He serves presently as a Tenured Associate Professor at the Bioengineering Department of IST. His main research interests are micro- and nanocharacterization of materials and materials surfaces for nano- and biotribological applications, and he currently coordinates the Nanostructured Materials and Nanotechnologies Laboratory.
